Paul Wedgwood (Splash Damage) has told VG247 that he thinks it’s fair to assume that DLC is something that would happen, however remained noncommittal on the subject
“Splash Damage have a reputation for always doing post-launch support, and Bethesda are exactly the same,”

E3 BRINK Impressions Round-Up |

During E3, a number of publications got a live game demo sneak peak. So what did they think and what was revealed? We've summarized all the impressions and information that was revealed.
What has been revealed:
- Brink takes place in the year 2035 in a green, self-sufficient floating city called The Ark.
- The game is based on two factions, the Security and the Resistance. You will be able to play as either and also a different class of combat in that faction.
- There will be a character-customization tool whereby the player can create their own character - including race, face, hair etc
- The game will feature the S.M.A.R.T system (Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain). You can move to different areas by holding down a button and pointing the camera in the desired direction. Many sites have described this as Mirror's Edge like movement.

Bethesda has released four new BRINK screenshots for E3. These are the first screenshots released. The screenshots show a number of characters in rather unique urban environments including the Ark & an airport. First impressions are very positive.
