What is Brink™?
Brink is a brand-new First Person Shooter coming to the Xbox 360™, PlayStation® 3, and the PC in Spring 2010. All three versions are being developed simultaneously and in-house by Splash Damage.
What's the story?
Brink takes place in the near future on a man-made floating city at sea called the Ark, made up of hundreds of separate islands and spread out over several square miles. Originally built as an experimental self-sufficient and 100% “green” habitat, the reported rapid rise of the Earth’s oceans has forced the Ark to become a refuge for humanity. Crammed with the original Ark Founders (and their descendants) as well as tens of thousands of refugee “Guests”, the Ark exists in total isolation from the rest of the world. |

First Presentation Impressions |

Bluegamer has posted one of the first impression summaries from the live Brink demonstration at this years QuakeCon.
The good news: Bluegamer described the gameplay is very unique; a cross between Halo & Call of Duty. "I wasn’t really hyped about Brink before, but the presentation here at QuakeCon won me over"
The bad news: No filming was permitted during the presentation, so don't expect any footage. Suxor.

Paul Wedgwood, the CEO of Splash Damage and Game Director on Brink has posted the first developer diary entry for Brink covering his reflection on E3, the early concept days and other key aspects of the game including the SMART system, setting and more.

Over at the SplashDamage website, Badman has released three brand new Brink screenshots and a new piece of artwork showing the initial "clean" vision of the Ark. Can we just say how cool the character design looks?
